<br />. <br /> <br />Section 6.0 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Add the following paragraph: <br /> <br />The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has completed five Flood <br />Plain Information Reports (Reference 14-18) covering the <br />following streams in or near Pueblo: Fountain Creek, <br />Goodnight Arroyo, Dry Creek and Wild Horse Dry Creek, St. <br />Charles River, Salt Creek and Sixmile Creek. <br /> <br />In July 1972 the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque <br />District, completed a Flood Insurance Study for the City of <br />Pueblo, Colorado (Reference 13). The 1972 Study was revised <br />by the COE in 1977 (Reference ) to correct datum <br />problems and to update the hydrologic analysis on Fountain <br />Creek. The 1977 COE Study was unacceptable to the City of <br />Pueblo due to the large lOa-year floodplains in an near Lake <br />Minnequa and the Pueblo downtown area. <br /> <br />In March, 1981, the previous COE Flood Insurance Study was <br />updated by MSM Consultants, Inc. to include the following: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Lake Minnequa - <br /> <br />recalculate hydraulics, hydrology and <br />lOa-year floodplain delineation. <br /> <br />I. <br />I <br /> <br />South Pueblo- <br /> <br />recalculate hydraulics, hydrology and <br />lOa-year floodplain delineation.
