(Acceptance of Flood Hazard Area Delineation
of McIntyre Gu1 ch)

WHEREAS, the Board has previoulsy authorized the Executive Director to

execute an agreerrent with a consulting engineer for the completion of a. Flood

Hazard Area Delineation Report for McIntyre Gulch (Resolution No. 25, Series
of 1976); and

WHEREAS, the Executive Director has executed a contract with HYdro-Triad,

Ltd., for a Flood Hazard Area Delineation Study of McIntyre Gulch; and

WHEREAS, the Board has previously indicated its desire that the results

of such studies be provided to the local governments so as to assist local govern-

ments in meeting the requirements of HB 1041;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

1. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District

accept the report (Flood Hazard Area Delineation, McIntyre Gulch,

October, 1977) and recommend its use as a guide in future planning

related to these tributaries;

2. The Board of D>irectors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control DH,trict

recommend that Lakewood adopt the report and regulate the lOa-year

flood plain defined in the report; and

3. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District

submit the report for designation and approval by the Colorado Water

Conservation Board as stated in Section 37-60-l06(1)(c), Colorado

Revised Statutes, 1973, as flood hazard areas, those areaS described

in the

report as being inundated
