Re: Colorado River Flood Analysis Proposal for Engineering Services Dear Mr. Goldin: Thank you for inviting Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc. to respond to your Request for Proposal on the Colorado River Flood Analysis Project. We al-e pleased that you included us on your list of firms to be considered for this work and we are responding in the form of the attached proposal. We are very enthusiastic about the prospect of working with you on this project. We believe that our qualifications are unsurpassed by any firm in the Rocky Mountain Region. The following specific qualifications are described in more deta i 1 in our prop osa 1 : o The Project Team which will be assigned to this work has completed more than 50 projects in the last five years involving major hydrologic and hydraulic analyses. The projects include some 25 flood insurance studies in Colorado and Utah, regional hydrologic studies on large rivers and streams along the Front Range and Western Slope of Colorado, and floodplain delineation for major draingeway planning and design projects. o Patrick F. Mulhern wi 11 be assigned as Project Manager for these investigations. In the last five years he has served as Project Manager for all types of drainage and flood control projects in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. o Mr. Mulhern and other members of the Project Team have well established contacts at the Federal Emergency Ma,nagement Agency, the Colorado Water Conservat i on Board, the U.S. Bureau of Rec 1 amat i on, the So i 1 Conservat i on Service, the U.S. Geologic Survey, the U.S. Corps of Engineers, the Colorado Division of Highways, and the State Engineers Office.
