are determined to be the floodway. A floodway has been computed
for each of the streams in this study except where the 100-year
floodplain is confined to the channel.

DATA SUMMARY
Topographic mapping, digitized cross sections, and survey data
for stream crossings were provided by Landmark Mapping, Ltd.
The mapping was prepared according to specifications of the
Urban Drainage and Flood Control District. Ground control
surveys for the topographic mapping were performed by Landmark
Mapping, Ltd. Topographic mapping was prepared with two-foot
contour intervals at a scale of 1" = 100'. For inclusion in
this report, the final mapping was reduced by 50%. Descriptions
of the monument and benchmark locations and elevations used to
develop the topography are shown in Table 2.

Future land use and development information was obtained from
the respective Planning Departments of Arapahoe County, the
City of Aurora, and Douglas County through discussion with
staff and reviewing the most current land use and zoning maps.

Rainfall data used in the hydrologic modelling were obtained
from the Storm Drainage and Technical Criteria Manuals for
Arapahoe and Douglas Counties. Addi tional hydrology input
parameters were determined utilizing U.S. Geological Survey 7.5
Minute Series quadrangles. Other data sources utilized in the
preparation of this report are shown in Table 3.
