<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />FPR 91-317 <br /> <br />COWRADO WAlER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />721 State Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />Novemper 14, 1991 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a floodplain information report entitled "Flood Hazard Area <br />Delineation, Bullhead Gulch and Tributaries," dated July 1991, has been prepared by <br />Advanced Sciences, Inc., at the request of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District <br />in cooperation with the City of Lafayette, the City of Louisville, and Boulder County, <br />Colorado; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report includes detailed floodplain information for the storm and <br />floodwater runoff channels on Bullhead Glllch and Tributaries; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District in cooperation with the <br />City of Lafayette and Boulder County ha.~ requested the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board to designate and approve the floodplllin areas as set forth in the aforesaid report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, requires the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board to assist in the prevention of floods and flood damages <br />therefrom; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section37-60-106(1)( c), Colorado Revised Statutes, directs the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels <br />or basins and to make such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sections 31-23-301 and 30-28-111, Colorado Revised Statutes, provide <br />that such legislative bodies of local jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for land uses <br />on or along any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after designation and <br />approval by the Colorado Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board bas reviewed said report and finds that it meets <br />all the applicable requirements for designation as detailed floodplain information under the <br /> <br />a:fpr-91.317 <br />
