<br />DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR <br /> <br />DATA RESOURCE AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY SUMMARY RECORD SYSTEt1 (APSRS) <br /> <br />AGENCY U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) <br />Topographic Division <br />National Cartographic Information Center (NCIC) <br /> <br />CONTENTo Describes existing, in-progress, and planned U.S. aerial <br />photography from various Federal, state, and commercial <br />sources. Provides geographic coverage, general time of <br />acquisition (1940 to present), scale range, and acquiring <br />organization for over 20 million frames of aerial photo- <br />graphs. State graphics will also be available in 19790 <br /> <br />FORMAT Four regional catalogs or microfiche of computer listings <br />describe coverage. APSRS catalogs are updated on a <br />periodic basis. Alaska and liawaii are currently available <br />on microfiche only. Computer listing on microfiche also <br />includes amount of cloud cover and type of camera and <br />film. Computer searches for aerial photography coverage <br />are available. Data are available for cost of computer time <br />and producing microfiche and photographic prints.
