Tabulations of all deaths in the United <br />States are classified into 281 causes using the Inter- <br />national Classification of Diseases Code. Causes include <br />accidents owing to natural and environmental factors, ex- <br />cessive heat or cold,_high and. low air pressure, lightning, <br />flood, hurricanes, cataclysm, and others. Records also <br />include place of occurrence and residence (state and <br />county), age, sex, and race. Covers the United States <br />(some foreign data), primarily from 1950's to present. <br />Variety of sources including death certificates, sample <br />interviews. <br /> <br />Printed reports (see below) and computer tapes ($125 per <br />reel, 1-10 reels for each tape record depending on detail) <br />and special unpublished tabulations.
