Major affected programs and resources include: <br />aid to local education agencies; food and drug safety; <br />communicable disease control; public assistance programs <br />for needy people; expansion of public assistance programs; <br />social security survivors' and disability benefits; sup- <br />plementary security income for the aged, blind, and dis- <br />abled; mental health crisis assistance; emergency medical <br />services systems, and assistance for the elderly. <br /> <br />The Emergency Coordinator does not maintain any natural <br />hazards data, but may be a useful contact for disaster <br />assistance.
