Earlier reports (before
1965) are largely limited to rainfall and flood-stage data.
More recent reports have included rough evaluations of the
response to warnings. Reports on major recent floods are
being prepared as a cooperative effort of NOAA and the
U.S. Geological Survey and will be published in the USGS
Professional Paper series. Technical reports are available
on flood forecasting and flood frequencies.
