A. If Owner has any objection to the coverage afforded by or other pro- visions of the insurance required to be purchased and maintained by Contractor the basis of its not complying with the Contract Documents, Owner will notify Contractor in writing thereof within ten days of the date of delivery of such certificates to Owner in accordance with paragraph 2.05.B. If Contractor has any objection to the coverage afforded by or other provisions of the policies of insurance required to be purchased and maintained by Owner in accordance with paragraphs 5.04.A, 5.05.A, and 5.06.A on the basis of their not complying with the Contract Documents, Contractor will notify Owner in writing thereof within ten days of the date of delivery of such certificates to Con- tractor. Owner and Contractor will each provide to the other such additional information in respect of insurance provided by him as the other may reasonably request. Failure by Owner or Contractor to give any such notice of objection within the time provided shall con- stitute acceptance of such insurance purchased by the other as comply- ing with the Contract Documents. I I I I 5.07 ACCEPTANCE OF INSURANCE A. Contractor shall supervise and direct the Work competently and ef- ficiently, devoting such attention thereto and applying such skills and expertise as may be necessary to perform the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. Contractor shall be solely responsible for the means, methods, techniques, sequences and procedures of con- struction, but Contractor shall not be solely responsible for the negligence of others in the design or selection of a specific means, method, technique, sequence or procedure of construction which is indicated in and required by the Contract Documents. Contractor shall be responsible to see that the finished Work complies accurately with the Contract Documents. I I I I I I I I I I I I I PART 6 CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITIES 6.01 SUPERVISION AND SUPERINTENDENCE B. Contractor shall keep on the Work at all times during its progress a competent resident superintendent, who shall not be replaced without written notice to Owner and Architect except under extraordinary circumstances. The superintendent will be Contractor's representa- tive at the site and shall have authority to act on behalf of Con- tractor. All communications given the superintendent shall be as binding as if given to Contractor. 6.02 LABOR, MATERIALS, AND E~UIPMENT A. Contractor shall provide competent, suitable qualified personnel to survey and layout the Work and perform construction as required by the Contract Documents. Contractor shall at all times maintain good discipline and order at the site. Except in connection with the safety or protection of persons or the Work or property at the site or adjacent thereto, and except as otherwise indicated in the Supple- mentary Conditions, all Work at the site shall be performed during regular working hours, and Contractor will not permit overtime work or the performance of Work on Saturday, Sunday or any legal holiday without Owner's written consent given after prior written notice to Architect. -8- I I
