It is just east of the Rocky Mountain foothills <br />at an altitude of abo\lt4990 feet, mean wa level (m.s.!.). FOr! Collins is located on the <br />Cache La Poudre River. Three trihutaries--Boxelder, Spring, and Dry Creeksntlow into <br />the Cache La Poudre River near the city or within the city limils. The creeks arc <br />crossed by dozens of transbasill agricultural irrigation canals, which convey flows <br />through Fort Collins and Larima Coumy.
