II <br />-. - i!2J <br />COLD, V/;:,'E'Rj' <br />THE URBAN DRAINAGE AND FLDDD CDNTRDL DISTRICT CONSERVATION BOARD <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO..,;3 , SERIES OF 197B <br />(Acceptance of Flood Hazard Area Delineation of <br />South Lakewood Gulch) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously autnorized the Executive Director to <br /> <br /> <br />execute an agreement with a consulting engineer for the completion of a Flood <br /> <br /> <br />Hazard Area Delineation Report for South Lakewood Gulch (Resolution No.7, <br /> <br />Series of 1976); and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Executive Director has executed a contract with Wright- <br /> <br /> <br />McLaughlin Engineers for such a Flood Hazard Area Delineation study; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously indicated its deSire that the results <br /> <br />of such studies be provided to the local governments so as to assist local <br /> <br /> <br />governments in meeting the requirements of HB 1041; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> <br />1. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br /> <br /> <br />District accept the report (Flood Hazard Area Delineation, South <br /> <br /> <br />Lakewoad Gulch, July, 1977) and recommend its use as a guide in <br /> <br />future planning related to these tributaries. <br /> <br /> <br />2. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br /> <br /> <br />District recommend that the City of Lakewood adopt the report <br /> <br /> <br />and regulate the lOO-year flood plain defined in the report; and <br /> <br /> <br />3.
