<br />along any storm or floodwater <br />designation and approval, by <br />BO,ard; and <br /> <br />~unoff channel or basin only after <br />the Colorado Water Conservation <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-10E\(l) (c), Colorado Revised Statutes <br />1973. directs the Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate <br />and approve storm or floodwate~ runoff channels or basins and ,to <br />make such, designations available to legislative, bodies of local <br />jurisdictions; and " <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said new report <br />and does hereby recommend to the' Colorado Water' Conservation <br />Board that the Board designate and approve as floodplain areas <br />those are.as inundated by a lOa-year, flood (intermediate regional <br />flood) 'for Southeast Canon Dr<>.inage, , Forked Gulch, West Forked <br />Gulch, "and Sand Creek, as deScribed by the floodwater surface <br />elevations and profiles in saip report; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conser- <br />vation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, <br />this 15th day of March, 1984, that it, does hereby designate and <br />approve as floodplain areas those areas, described as being <br />inundated by a laO-year flood for Southeast Canon Drainage, <br />Forked Gulch, West Forked Gulcll, and Sand Creek, as described by <br />the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said new <br />report; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RES,OLVED that the Secretary of the Board is <br />directed to send ,a certified cC)py of this resolution to the City <br />of Canon City and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />C ,E R T I F I CAT E <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a <br />resolution adopted by a majo~ity vote of the members of' the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at <br />Denver, Colorado, on the 15th day of March, 1984, at which a <br />quorum was present. <br /> <br /> <br />tft/t.M~ <br />William McDonald, <br /> <br />
