<br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />The Secretary of the Interior is responsible for establishing standards for all programs <br />under his authority that affect cultural resources listed or eligible for listing in the National <br />Register of Historic Places. In fulfillment of this responsibility. the Heritage Conservation <br />and Recreation Service has developed the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for <br />Historic Preservation Projects.
