In a letter dated March 17,1998, Ms. Nancy B. Love, C.E.O.,
Love & Associates, Inc., requested that FEMA revise the Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) issued on
March 6, 1998, to correct the zone designation for the areas north and south of Dutch Creek from
approximately I, 100 feet upstream of Fairway Lane to the confluence with the South Platte River.

The March 6 LOMR was issued in response to a request from Mr. David J. Love, P.E., also with
Love & Associates, Inc., to revise the effective FIRM to show the effects of construction of two 12-foot
by 25,foot, pre'cast, three, sided box culverts at Fairway Lane and channel modifications along Dutch
Creek from approximately 11 0 feet upstream of Fairway Lane to the confluence with the South Platte
River.

All data required to complete our review of this request were submitted with letters from Ms. Love.
Because this LOMR is being issued to correct a mapping or study analysis error, fees were not assessed
for the review.

We have completed our review of the submitted data and the flood data shown on the effective FIRM. We
have revised the FIRM to modify the zone designations of the flood having a I-percent chance of being
equaled or exceeded in any given year (base flood) along the revised reach of Dutch Creek. As a result
of the modifications, the zone designation for the revised reach changed from Zone X (shaded), the area
that would be inundated by the base flood with average depths less than 1 foot, to Zone X (unshaded), the
area that would not be inundated by the base flood. The modifications are shown on the enclosed annotated
copies of FIRM Panel(s) 0005 D and 0010 D. This LOMR hereby revises the above,referenced panel(s)
of the effective FIRM dated September 29, 1989.
