The major portion of the flow crosses <br />Briggs Street on the east side of the btidge where the road profile is nearly <br />level with the floodplain. However, since most of the flood ~ater is alre~dy in the flOodplain <br />area on the east side of the channel, most of the ~atet by-passcs the bridge. <br />Approximately 1950cfs flows through the bridge and IG,nOds flows along <br />the eaat side of the railroad to another bridge located 3700 feet north.
