<br />10.0 REVISION DESCRIPTIONS <br /> <br />This section has been added to provide information regarding <br />significant revisions made since the original Flood Insurance Study was <br />printed. Future revisions may be made that do not result in the <br />republishing of the Flood Insurance Study report. To ensure that any <br />user is aware of all revisions, it ia advisable to contact the <br />community repository of flood hazard data located at the San Miguel <br />County Planning Department, 333 West Colorado Avenue, Telluride, <br />Colorado. <br /> <br />10.1 First Revision <br /> <br />This study was revised on September 30, 1992, to identify areas of <br />possible but undetermined flood hazards along Cornet Creek. The <br />boundary of this area was determined through an analysis of debris <br />flows conducted by Simons Li and Associates (SLA) which was <br />completed in February 1990. <br /> <br />Section 5.0 INSURANCE APPLICATIONS, has been amended to include <br />Zone D as follows: <br /> <br />Zone D <br /> <br />Zone D is the flood insurance rate zone that corresponds to <br />unstudied areas where flood hazards are undetermined, but <br />possible. <br /> <br />The maps used to delineate the areas designated as Zone D were <br />prepared by SLA and are entitled, Flood Insurance Study. Town of <br />Telluride. San Mi2uel. Colorado, dated February 1990, with a scale <br />1:1,200 and a contour interval of 2 feet. <br /> <br />Minor adjustments have been made to Profile Panels 13P, 14P, 17P <br />and 18P for the San Miguel River for better conformity to the <br />Flood Inaurance Rate Map. Adjustments have been made to the <br />Floodway Data Table and Flood Insurance Rate Map along the San <br />Miguel River to more accurately reflect the Base Flood Elevations <br />represented on the profile. <br /> <br />28 <br />
