<br />.;. <br /> <br />~ <br />. <br /> <br />at other places will be collected to prepare a discharge profile <br /> <br />of the entire flood. <br /> <br />Flood Vol ume <br /> <br />Preliminary analyses of measurements in the rate of rise in <br /> <br />Lake Estes has been made to determine flood volume and a <br /> <br />hydrograph of the flood downstream of the town. <br /> <br />Flood Travel Times <br /> <br />A preliminary comparison of observed time of peak with <br /> <br />distances and stream slope has been made based on interviews <br /> <br />collected by other agencies and travel times reported in the <br /> <br />press. <br /> <br />Flood Photos <br /> <br />The staff has approximately 55 still photos taken on July 15 <br /> <br />from about noon to 3:30 and about 30 photos taken on July 16. We <br /> <br />also have obtained a set of aerial photographs of the flood from <br /> <br />M&I Engineers. <br /> <br />Newspaper Articles <br /> <br />We have collected pertinent newspaper articles about the <br /> <br />flood from the Denver Post, the Rocky Mountain News, and the <br /> <br />Estes Park Trail-Gazette. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
