Among those people that contributed are Mr. <br />Dale Peterson and Ms. Viki Thompson (Region IX). Mr. Carl <br />Cook (Region X). Dr. JOhn Liou and Mr. Doug Gore (Region <br />VIII), and Mr. Dell Greer (Region VI). Mr. Brian Mrazik and <br />Mr. Ross MacKay. Office of floodplain Management, <br />Washington. D.C.. provided valuable information on the <br />engineering and regulatory aspects of alluvial fan flood <br />management. <br /> <br />Many state and local officials. corporations, universities, <br />and private citizens provided data. eyewitness accounts, and <br />other insights into historical flooding.
