Renohill-Buick-Lithe Association: Sloping to steep, loamy <br /> <br /> <br />soils that have a loamy to clayey subsoiI; moderately deep and deep <br /> <br /> <br />ovcr shale or sandstone; on uplands. <br /> <br /> <br />This is the predominant soil a~sociation In the Big Ilry Creek <br /> <br /> <br />Basin and includes most of the central part of the study area. These <br /> <br /> <br />soils arc slowly to moderately permeable with a generally high swelling <br /> <br /> <br />potential. Runoff is moderate to rapid with slight to moderate crosion. <br /> <br /> <br />This soil association IS composed mainly of Renohill Soils (loam 5" <br /> <br /> <br />surface layer;cl ay loam subsoil wi th ,;hale at 26" depths ovcrlain "i th <br /> <br /> <br />lime deposits), Buick Soils (loam 6" surface l:lyer with a sanely clay <br /> <br /> <br />loam subsoil-lime at 12" depth), Lithe Soi ls (silty clay ]oan~ genera]]y <br /> <br /> <br />limy 3" surface layer, 13" layer clay or sil ty cl ['y subso:\l and cl ayey <br /> <br /> <br />shede at about 39" depth) and other llllnor soi 15. <br /> <br />3.)
