JLk SERIES of 1986 <br />(Acceptance of Flood Hazard Area Delineation Report <br />for Bi9 Dry Creek (Adco)) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously established a Work Pr09ram for 1985 <br /> <br /> <br />(Resolution No, 60, Series of 1984) which included the delineation of flood <br /> <br />hazard areas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously authorized the Executive Director to <br /> <br /> <br />execute an agreement with a qualified engineering consultant for the completion <br /> <br />of a flood hazard area delineation study for Big Dry Creek in Adams County <br /> <br /> <br />(Resolution No. 64, Series of 1984); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously indicated its desire that the results of <br /> <br />such studies be provided to the local governments so as to assist such local <br /> <br /> <br />governments in meeting the requirements of HB 1041; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Executive Director has executed an agreement with Muller <br /> <br /> <br />Engineering Company, Inc. for a flood hazard area delineation study of Big Dry <br /> <br /> <br />Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a report II Flood Haza rd Area Del ineat i on, Bi 9 Dry Creek (Adco)" <br /> <br /> <br />dated November, 1986 has been completed by MuTler Engineering Company, Inc. for <br /> <br />Big Dry Creek; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> <br />1. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br /> <br />District accepts the report "Flood Hazard Area Delineation, Big Dry <br /> <br /> <br />Creek (Adco)", November, 1986 by Muller Engineerfng Company, Inc. and <br /> <br /> <br />recommends its use as a guide in future planning related to the Big <br /> <br /> <br />Dry Creek floodplain contained therein; <br /> <br />2. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br /> <br /> <br />District recommends that Adams County and Thornton adopt the report <br /> <br />and regulate the 100-year floodplains defined in the report; and <br /> <br /> <br />3. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br /> <br />District submit the report for designation and approval by the <br /> <br /> <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board as stated in Section <br />
