DESCRIPTION OF LOCATION
U.S. Geological Survey standard disk stamped "5190.022 5191"
located 4.3 miles northwest along the Denver and Rio Grande
Western Railroad from the station at Olathe, 1/2 mile north of mile-
post D-366, 365 feet south of the crossing of U.S. Highway 50, 20
feet west of the centerline of the track, in the top of a stone retain-
ing wall, 10 feet south of the north end and 7 1/2 feet lower than
the track.
U.S. Geological Survey standard cap stamped "5229.707" and rivet-
ed on top of a 3 1/2 inches iron pipe projecting 8 inches above
ground, located 3.2 miles northwest along the Denver and Rio
Grande Western Railroad from the station at Olathe, 0.4 mile
north of milepost D-365, 76 feet south of the center of bridge
365.44, 98 feet (measured on the slope) west of the centerline of
the track, 26 feet west of the centerline of U.S. Highway 50, 4 feet
east of a fence line, in line with a row of poles, and 7 feet lower
than the track.
