<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Section 20,0, 21.0, 21.2, 21.4 and 21.6 will have the same improvements as Section 19,2, <br /> <br />Section 21. 8 is a full channel section downstream from the Union Pacific Railroad Bridge, The <br /> <br /> <br />channel invert will be lowered to a straight grade from this station to the Perry Street Bridge, <br /> <br />Section 22,6 is the effective flow area downstream of the Union Pacific Railroad Bridge, <br /> <br />Section 22,8 is the Union Pacific Railroad Bridge, This bridge is a wooden structure with 6 wooden <br />piers and a concrete abutment, Riprap has been placed on the sideslopes for erosion protection, The Unioo <br />Pacific Railroad has agreed to add 2 spans to the east end of the bridge, The riprap will be replaced and the <br />slopes will be increased to 1,5: 1, The bottom of the channel will be excavated to match the new sideslopes, <br /> <br />Section 23,6 is the full channel section upstream from the Union Pacific Railroad Bridge, <br /> <br />Section 23,8 is located about halfway between the Union Pacific Railroad Bridge and Perry Street <br /> <br /> <br />Bridge, The channcl section between the two bridges has a 110 foot bottom width and 3 to 1 side slopes. <br /> <br />Section 24,2 is thc full channel scction downstream of the Perry Street Bridge, <br /> <br />Section 24,9 is the effective flow area downstream of the Perry Street Bridge, <br /> <br />Section 25,1 (Section 25,0 in the existing model) is the New Perry Street Bridge, The old bridge has <br /> <br /> <br />a 38 foot wide opening, The proposed bridge will be a 120 foot long, 2 span structure with a 2 fOOl wide <br /> <br /> <br />concrete pier and a 1.5: 1 sideslopes, The new Bridge will be set about I 'h feet higher than the existing <br /> <br /> <br />bridge, <br /> <br />Section 25,2 is the existing channel section upstream of the Perry Street Bridge, A levee extends <br />southwest from Perry Street along the railroad until it matches existing grade. The levee has a minimum of <br />3-feet of freeboard, The freeboard has been increased to 3,5-feet at the upstream of the levee, <br /> <br />Section 26,0, 27,0, and 28,0 are existing sections used to match the improvement runs to the existing <br />floodplain water surface elevations, <br /> <br />6 <br />
