<br />WHEREAS, the 100-year flood elevations contained in said new report for Oak Creek increased <br />in some areas and decreased in other areas as a result of the modifications approved by FEMA; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the revised map panel contained in said new report will be used for floodplain <br />management purposes and National Flood Insurance Program purposes related to flood insurance <br />policies and renewals issued within the community; and <br /> <br />DESIGNATION AND APPROVAL ACTION <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation Board in <br />regular meeting assembled in Northglenn, Colorado, this 22nd day of January 2003, that it does hereby <br />designate and approve as detailed 100-year floodplain information for Oak Creek in the vicinity of <br />Florence, Colorado contained in said new report dated December 2, 2002; and <br /> <br />BE IT FUR THER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send a certified <br />copy of this resolution to the City of Florence, Fremont County, and the Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency Region 8. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by a majority vote of the <br />members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at Northglenn, <br />Colorado on the 22nd day of January 2003, at which a quorum was present. <br /> <br />Rod Kuharich, Director <br /> <br />res-568.doc twb <br /> <br />3 <br />
