The data-
set number (dsn) of each selected data set is stored in a buffer. The contents of the buffer deter-
mine what data sets will be analyzed by PEAKFQ. Data sets may be Added to or Dropped
from the buffer by number. Data sets may also be selected by Browsing a brief description of
the data sets in the wdm file or by searching the contents using Boolean criteria. For a detailed
description of all of the Select options, see the next section.

Note that initially, the STATUS window indicates three are no data sets in the buffer. After the
Select menu is exited the STATUS window will be updated to indicate the number of data sets
in the buffer.

Select (IWS)
NO data sets are currently in the bu~fer.

Select a buffer management option for active data sets.

PEAKFQ 2.

8M data-set number: .
'1'111 ~.~Ii!If.:fiJ'ii
Drop - from the buffer
List - contents of buffer
Clear - the buffer
Sort - numbers in buffer

Other methods:
Browse - thru data sets to select
Find - with Boolean criteria
Input - data-set numbers from file
Output - data-set numbers to file
Return - from data-set selectIon

-STATU
Data from WDM file test.wd~
No data sets in the buffer
Output to file PEAKFQ.OUT

INSTRUCT

Select an option using arrow keys
then confirm selection with the F2 key, or
Type the first letter of an option.

HQlp:~ ACCQpt:~ Status:~ Quiet:~ Cmhlp

Input!
