<br />hereby designate and approve as storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins those streams <br />within Lake County, as listed in Table 2, described by approximate floodplain information in <br />said new report dated February 8, 1996, that meet the criteria for the regression equation for <br />Arkansas River Basin Subregion 6, QUIO = 45.98 * (A)O,717, as set forth in the Guidelines for <br />Determining lOO-Year Flood Flows for Approximate Floodplains, contingent upon the <br />understanding that Lake County will regulate the approximate floodplains on a case-by-case <br />basis subject to a detailed hydrologic and hydraulic analysis performed by a professional <br />engineer, in accordance with the determinations of the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />regarding the applicability of the Guidelines for Determining I 00- Year Flood Flows for <br />Approximate Floodplains; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board does hereby designate and approve as <br />storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins those floodplain areas within Lake County, as <br />listed in Table 2, described by approximate floodplain information in said new report dated <br />February 8, 1996, that do not meet the regression equation criteria for Arkansas River Basin <br />Subregion 6, as set forth in the Guidelines for Determining 100-Year Flood Flows for <br />Approximate Floodplains, contingent upon the understanding that Lake County will regulate <br />those approximate floodplains on a case-by-case basis subject to a detailed hydrologic and <br />hydraulic analysis performed by a professional engineer, in accordance with the determinations <br />of the Colorado Water Conservation Board regarding the applicability of the Guidelines for <br />Determining 100-Year Flood Flowsfor Approximate Floodplains; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send a <br />certified copy of this resolution to the Board of County Commissioners of Lake County; the City <br />of Leadville; the Colorado Office of Emergency Management; the U.S. Anny Corps of <br />Engineers, Albuquerque District; and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />CER TIFICATE <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by a <br />majority vote of the members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session <br />assembled at Denver, Colorado, on the 13th day of March, 1996, at which a quorum was <br />present. <br /> <br />~(J x2 <br /> <br />Daries C.
