PE <br />Director, (WeB <br /> <br />By this communication I am requesting your participation in a meeting regarding the flood <br />hazard determinations on South Boulder Creek in Boulder County, Colorado. As you may be <br />aware, the 1996 Colorado Joint Budget Committec requestcd that the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board review the floodplain issues regarding the Univcrsity of Colorado, Bouldcr <br />purchase of certain lands known as the "Flatirons/Gateway Property". <br /> <br />In the Board's October 4, 1996 review letter, we made a request to FEMA quote: "that no <br />change be made to thc flood insurancc maps until after March 15, 1997".
