Grass channel sidE~ slopes must be 4H: IV Dr flatter, unless <br />approved by the city. <br /> <br />4. Show the energy grade line and the hydraulic grade line on the <br />design drawings. <br /> <br />5. Consider all backwa.ter conditions at culverts when determining <br />channel capacity. <br /> <br />6. Check the flow velocity for flood conditions wi.thout backwater <br />effects. <br /> <br />7. Provide adequate freeboard. <br /> <br />8.
