<br />, <br /> <br />4. the granting of a variance will not result in increased <br />vulnerability to flood losses, additional threats to public <br />safety, extraordinary public expense, create nuisances, <br />cause fraud or victimization of the public, hide <br />information of significant interest to the public or <br />conflict with existing local laws or regulations. <br /> <br />IncorDoration by Reference: The Statement of Basis and <br />for the adoption of these Floodplain Designation and <br />Rules is incorporated by reference as part of these rules. <br /> <br />Rule 13. Severability: If any portion of these Floodplain Designation <br />and Approval Rules is found to be invalid, the remaining portion <br />of the rules shall remain in force and in effect. <br /> <br />Rule 12. <br /> <br />Purpose <br />Approval <br /> <br />Rule 14. Reyision of Rules: The Colorado Water Conservation Board may <br />revise these rules in accordance with Section 24-4-103 C.R.S. <br />Such revisions may be the result of new information and/or the <br />submittal of a petition by an interested person pursuant to <br />Section 24-4-103(7) C.R.S. and 2 C.C.R. 402-5 1.1.3.B.2. <br /> <br />Rule 15. Effective Date: These rules shall apply to the designation and <br />approval of all floodplain information made by the Board on or <br />after January 1, 1988, and are, therefore, not retroactive to any <br />floodplain information designated and approved by the Board prior <br />to the effective date. <br /> <br />-25- <br />
