<br />along any storm or floodwater <br />designation and approval by <br />Board; and ". <br /> <br />runoff channel or basin only after <br />the Colorado Water Conservation <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-10~(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, <br />directs the Colo:r:ado Water COnservation Board to designate and <br />approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins and to make <br />such designations available to legislative bodies of local <br />jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said revised <br />information and data and does hereby reconunend to the Colorado <br />Water Cono:;ervation Board that the Board designate and approve as <br />floodplain areas those areas inundated by a lOa-year flood <br />(intermediate regional flood) as described by the floodwater <br />surface elevations and profil,.s in said new report, and further <br />reconunendo:; that the floodwater surface elevations and profiles <br />for Fountain Creek and Jinuny Camp Creek, within the corporate <br />limits of the City of Fount<'dn, El Paso County, Colorado, as <br />approved by Resolution No. 3Cl, adopted March 30, 1974, not be <br />rescinded: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of t1<eBoard finds that the hydrologic <br />and hydraUlic data in the rep~rts dated March, 1974; and January <br />3, 1985, to be identical, and the community may Use any of, them <br />for the administration of its floodplain management programs; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conser- <br />vation BOard in regular meet:ing assembled in Denver, Colorado, <br />this 3rd day of May, 1985, 'that it does hereby designate and <br />approve ,as floodplain areas those areas described as being <br />inundated by a lOa-year floOd as 'described by the floodwater <br />surface elevations and profiles' in said new report, dated <br />January 3, 1985; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED that the Secretary ot the Board is <br />directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the City <br />of Fountain, the Board of COUnty conunissioners of El Paso County: <br />and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />C E R T r F I CAT E <br /> <br />I certify that the foregOing is a true and cOrrect copy of a <br />resolution adopted by a majority vote of the members of the <br />Colorado Water Conservation BOard in regular session assembled at <br />Denver, Colorado, on the 3rd day of May, 1985, at which a quorum <br />was present. <br /> <br /> <br />~ ~ <br /> <br />William McDonald, Secretary <br /> <br />
