In a letter dated September 17, 1997,
Mr. Michael D, Vinson, P.E., Development Review Engineer, Department of Community Development, City
of Greenwood Village, requested that FEMA modify the effective FIRM and FIS report to incorporate some
of the results of a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) dated July 15, 1991, along Prentice Gulch. With a letter
dated February 16, 1995, we informed the City of Greenwood Village that the results of the July 15 LOMR
would be incorporated on a new FIRM and FIS report dated August 16, 1995. Part of the July 15 LOMR was
inadvertently excluded from the August 16 FIRM. This LOMR is being issued to revise the effective FIRM
and FIS report to reflect the entire July 15 LOMR.

All data required to complete our review of this request were submitted with Mr. Vinson's letter. Because
this LOMR is being issued to correct a mapping or study analysis error, fees were not assessed for the review.

We have completed our review of the July 15 LOMR and the flood data shown on the effective FIRM and FIS
report. We have revised the FIRM to modify the elevations and floodway boundary delineations of the flood
having a I-percent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year (base flOOd) along Prentice Gulch
from its confluence with Greenwood Gulch at HigWine Canal to South Holly Street. We have also revised the
FIRM to modify the base floodplain boundary delineations along Prentice Gulch from its confluence with
Greenwood Gulch at HigWine Canal to the upstream limit of detailed study. As a result of the modifications,
the base flood elevations (BFEs) for Prentice Gulch decreased; the width of the Special Flood Hazard Area
(SFHA), the area that would be inundated by the base flood, decreased; and the width of the regulatory
floodway decreased. Profile Panell64P in the FIS report was revised to correct the locations of South Holly
Street and Cross Section A. The results of the July 15 LOMR were incorporated into the Floodway Data
Table in the FIS report dated August 16, 1995. The modifications are shown on the enclosed annotated copy
of FIRM Panel 08005C0460 J and Profile Panel l64P. This LOMR hereby revises the above-referenced
panel(s) of the effective FIRM and FIS report, both dated August 16, 1995.

The modifications are effective as of the date shown above. The map panel(s) as listed above and as modified
by this letter will be used for all flood insurance policies and renewals issued for your community.
