<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, has not designated and approved the <br />detailed and approximate floodplain information included in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a report entitled "Flood <br />Insurance Study, Arapahoe County, Colorado and Incorporated Areas", revised August 16, 1995; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report includes detailed floodplain information for Boxelder Creek, Cherry <br />Creek, Cherry Creek Spillway, Coal Creek, First Creek, Granby Ditch, Murphy Creek, Piney Creek, <br />Sand Creek, Toll Gate Creek, East Toll Gate Creek, West Toll Gate Creek, West Toll Gate Tributary, <br />Unnamed Creek (tributary to West Toll Gate Creek) and Westerly Creek and approximate floodplain <br />information for Aurora Reservoir, First Creek, Murphy Creek Tributary, Quincy Reservoir, Sampson <br />Gulch, Senac Creek, Side Creek (tributary to East Toll Gate Creek), West Toll Gate Creek, West Toll <br />Gate Creek Tributary and Unnamed Creek (tributary to West Toll Gate Creek); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, has not designated and approved the <br />detailed and approximate floodplain information included in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said reports for Adams County and Incorporated Areas and for Arapahoe County <br />and Incorporated Areas, both dated August 16, 1995, are consistent with said new report for the City <br />of Aurora dated August 16, 1995; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new report for the City of Aurora dated August 16, 1995 includes the following <br />detailed floodplain information which was incorporated through electronic digitization and which is <br />consistent with detailed floodplain information previously designated and approved by the following <br />Resolutions listed in Table 1, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, which <br />Resolutions were adopted prior to the adoption of Resolution No. 93-334: <br /> <br />TABLE 1 <br /> <br />Detailed Information Which Is Consistent With Previously Prepared Detailed Information <br />Which Was Designated bv Resolutions Adopted Prior to Resolution No. 93-334 <br /> <br />Stream Reach <br /> <br />Previous Designation <br /> <br />Murphy Creek upstream of Mississippi A venue <br /> <br />(FPR # 49) <br />(FPR # 49) <br /> <br />Piney Creek <br /> <br />Coal Creek from the City of Aurora corporate <br />limil al the alignment of Harvest Mile Road <br />as of August 16, 1995 upstream to Jewell <br />A venue <br /> <br />(FPR # 71) <br /> <br />Sand Creek from the western corporate limit of the <br />City of Aurora upstream to its confluence with <br />Toll Gate Creek <br /> <br />(FPR # 71) <br /> <br />3 <br />
