<br />RESOLUTION
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain information
<br />report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City of Aurora, Colorado, Adams, Douglas and Arapahoe
<br />Counties", revised September 30, 1992; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for Boxelder Creek, Cherry
<br />Creek, Cherry Creek Spillway, Coal Creek, First Creek, Granby Ditch, Murphy Creek, Piney Creek,
<br />Sable Ditch, Sand Creek, Toll Gate Creek, East Toll Gate Creek, West Toll Gate Creek, West Toll Gate
<br />Tributary, Unnamed Creek (tributary to West Toll Gate Creek) and Westerly Creek and approximate
<br />floodplain information for Aurora Reservoir, Baranmoor Parkway Drainage, Boxelder Creek, West
<br />Boxelder Creek, First Creek, Murphy Creek Tributary, Quincy Reservoir, Sampson Gulch, Senac Creek,
<br />Side Creek (tributary to East Toll Gate Creek), West Toll Gate Creek, West Toll Gate Creek Tributary
<br />and Unnamed Creek (tributary to West Toll Gate Creek); and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the City of Aurora, by
<br />Resolution No. 93-334, adopted on May 7, 1993, designated and approved the detailed aIld the
<br />approximate floodplain information included in said report; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Aurora Engineering Division completed a floodplain information report
<br />entitled "Sable Ditch at Sable Boulevard and 23rd Avenue, REQUEST FOR LETTER OF MAP
<br />REVISION", dated August 1993; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for the Sable Ditch; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the City of Aurora, by
<br />Resolution No. 94-351, adopted on January 20, 1994, designated and approved the detailed floodplain
<br />information included in said report; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, a new report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City of Aurora, Colorado, Adams,
<br />Douglas and Arapahoe Counties", revised August 16, 1995 has been prepared by the Federal Emergency
<br />Management Agency; and
