<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PREFACE <br /> <br />This report was prepared by Merrick and Company Engineers of Denver, Colorado, <br /> <br />for the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District as part of their 1977 Work Program to <br /> <br />delineate flood hazard areas for the guidance of local officials in planning the use and <br /> <br />regulation of the Little Dry Creek floodplain, Included herein is information on the <br /> <br /> <br />characteristics of the Little Dry Creek Drainage Basin and present channel, historic <br /> <br />flooding problems, and the nature and extent of probable future floods. <br /> <br />Upon acceptance of this report by the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District <br /> <br />and the designation and approval of this report by the Colorado Water Conservation Board, <br /> <br />the areas described as being inundated by the 100 year flood can be designated as flood <br /> <br />hazard areas and their use regulated accordingly. <br /> <br />Copies of this report are available for public distribution at the below-listed offices. <br /> <br />A Technical Addendum to this report containing all pertinent data and calculations used in <br />the flood plain analysis is also available for review at the same offices; however, it has <br /> <br />not been published in quantities sufficient for public distribution. <br /> <br />Urban Drainage and Flood Control District <br />2480 West 26th Avenue <br />Building B - Suite 156 <br />Denver, Colorado 80211 <br /> <br />- 1- <br />
