<br />STREAM HYDROLOGY <br /> <br />Good streamflow records have been maintained on the <br /> <br />Uncompahgre River at the Colona and Delta gage stations. <br /> <br />Flood <br /> <br />discharges have been computed for the study reach based on these <br /> <br />historical river charact.eristics. All event peak flow-frequency <br /> <br />curves were developed by combining the rainfall and snowmelt <br /> <br />flow-frequency curves for each gaging station. <br /> <br />It was found that. <br /> <br />the all-event curves were essentially identical for the two <br /> <br />stations. Therefore, uniform peak flovm for all but a few <br /> <br />locat.ions in the study were adopted.
