Christopher G. Pletcher, E.I.T
Water Resource Engineer

Education

Professional Experil'Hlce
Mr. Pletcher, having transferred to the Fort Collins office of The Sear-
Brown Group from the Rochester office, brings with him a detailed
background in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, design of urbanized
stormwater systems, storm drainage, water distribution networks,
culverts, and river hydraulic analysis. Mr. Pletcher has extensive
experience using SWMM, EXTRMI, WaterCAD, HDS-5, HY-8, and
HEC-RAS.

BS, Civil Engineering, Clarkson
University, 1996

BS, Physics, Roberts Wesleyan
College, 1995

Professional Registration

Intern Engineer, New York State

His professional experience includes:

Professional Affiliations

. Young's Crossing, Cortland County, New York - Hydraulic analysis
of the Tioughnioga River was completed in HEC-RAS in connection
with a rural bridge replacement. This project involved close
coordination with highway design improvements and bridge
structural design improvements to reflect future conditions in the
hydraulic model. Results were presented in a Hydraulic Report for
Cortland County and approved by NYSDOT Main Office
Hydraulics.

American Society of Civil
Engineers

. Mount Crested Butte - Floodplain Improvements, Mount Crested
Butte, Colorado - Developed hydrology for mountainous region
basin using log-Pearson Type]]] statistical distribution and USGS
gage data. Culvert analysis performed with UD-sewer.

. South Loveland Outfoll Phase I, Loveland, Colorado - Final design
and construction services for 66" diameter storm drain system as
part of a regional stormwater improvement. Design included HEC-2
modelling of irrigation ditch and side-spill diversion weir.

. US-287 Wiley Junction North, Lamar, Colorado - Preliminary
hydrology and hydraulic design of roadway culverts, natural stream
and irrigation ditch crossings for 21 miles of rural interstate
highway. Hydrology performed using multiple regional regression
equations for the eastern plains of Colorado. Hydraulic analysis
included HY-8 for culverts, HEC-I for reservoir routing, and HEC-
RAS for channel and floodplain water surface profiles.

. Town of Wellington, Colorado - Performed work as Town Engineer
including review of proposed subdivision drainage, water & sewer
designs, and production of construction documents for drainage inlet
reconstruction.
