<br />schedule and budget, consumptive use estimates,
<br />net recharge calculations, river and canal losses
<br />and gains, selection of appropriate technologies
<br />for surface and groundwater modeling, GIS ap-
<br />plications, database design and implementation,
<br />and all other aspects of the PRDSS.

<br />. Coordinated a multi-agency and multi-
<br />consultant team in efforts to identify alternatives
<br />for augmenting flows in streams in the Central
<br />Valley of California. As part of a congressional
<br />act, project water in the U,S,B.R, projects was
<br />dedicated to instream and upland habitat en-
<br />hancement for fish and wildlife, The U,S,B,R,
<br />was commissioned to evaluate ways of eco-
<br />nomically augmenting flows from willing sellers
<br />to replace and/or supplement the water being re-
<br />directed to fish and wildlife priorities, The
<br />DRAFT report to congress has recently been
<br />submitted,
<br />
<br />. Headed the Nebraska Planning Process FornlU-
<br />lation Committee, a multidisciplinary team that
<br />developed and then implemented the Nebraska
<br />State Water Planning Process, Two other states
<br />have used the process as a model in developing
<br />their water resource programs,
<br />
<br />. Served on the Nebraska Governor's interagency
<br />water policy and coordination committee; met
<br />monthly with other water agency heads to dis-
<br />cuss various federal, state and local issues and
<br />provide direction for water resource decisions,
<br />
<br />. Prepared an assessment of the pending amend-
<br />ments to the Clean Water Act regarding "water-
<br />shed management" provisions, and conducted
<br />workshop with City of Westminster managers
<br />and planners on implications to Colorado resi-
<br />dents,
<br />
<br />. Evaluated use of RiverWare for study of river
<br />and reservoir operations to assist recovery of
<br />threatened and endangered species in the San
<br />Juan River.
