Recommendations are made concerning <br />hazard mitigation and avoidance. The Hazard and Constraint Maps and accompanying <br />documentation should be updated periodically to reflect additional or improved <br />information as it becomes available. <br /> <br />All maps, except the flood hazard map were done at a scale of 1:4,800. The flood <br />hazard map was originally done at a scale of 1:1,200, but is presented at 1:2,400. The <br />hazard boundaries were digitized in AutoCAD= Version 12.0 by INDACAD of <br />Durango Colorado. All hazard and constraint boundaries ar~ approximate. Many of <br />the boundaries are transitional over considerable distances. Plotting at different scales <br />should not be permitted to imply accuracy beyond scales at which the maps were <br />originally presented. These maps are not intended for evaluating individual sites, lots <br />or properties.
