<br />ing the afternoon and night of June 3 was 14 inches. A hard-
<br />surfaced road in that section was washed out to a depth of7 feet.
<br />The area. drained by Dry Creek, unlike those of the other tribu-
<br />tary streams, had its severest rain on June 2. Mr. J. F. :Wing, who

<br />'~;:~, ',', At 11 p. m. the bridge over Twenty-fourth Street in Pueblo was
<br />.~/;i" ' washed out. On June 3 it was misty or rainy all day, and at 7.30
<br />~,>~'i .' p. Ill. a very hard rain began, which became a cloud-burst at 10 p. m.
