under northbound 1-25 and a planned 12'-12'x6' concrete box
culvert beneath the planned east to north interchange ramp.
This planned 12'-12'x6' concrete box culvert in conjunction
with a planned 11'-14'-11'x6' concrete box culvert beneath
the Larimer County Road 50 embankment would mitigate the
hydraulic impact of the planned east to nor1~h in.terchange
ramp. The planned 11'-14'-11x6' concrete box culvert would
be designed to convey approximately 1434 CFS during the
lOO-year storm event and flow to the south.

Based on the data upon which this report is based, and
calculations and analyses presented herein, the recommended
interchange drainage improvements are adequate to mitigate
the impacts of the planned interchange on d:rainage without
increasing upstream water surface elevations more than half
a foot during the 100-year storm event. In addition, it is
our conclusion that the recommended interchange drainage
improvements presented herein will maintain historic
drainage patterns in the vicinity of th,e planned
interchange.

20
