This Resolution was introduced on March 5, 1998 by Rep. Cannon and
referred to House Committee on Resources. Currently the Resolution has 27 cosponsors,
including Representatives Scott McInnis and Joel Hefley of Colorado. On March 9,
1998, the House Committee on Resources referred it the Subcommittee on Water and
Power. The Resolution is awaiting further action, but nothing is scheduled at the current
time.
Also, attached are comments from Jim Lochhead to Rep. Scott Mcinnis
concerning the Resolution. I visited with Rep. McInnis Office briefly today and was
assured that our comments would be addressed if and when further action on the
Resolution occurs.

Attachments
