COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD

Vice-Chairman Bailey called the meeting to order at 9:50 A. M.

Mr. Bailey:

"Mr. Meek is unable to be here and has requested
that Senator Shults take his place. If there is
no objection, Senator Shults will sit in Mr.
Meek's place on the Board. Also, Mr. Pughe is
not here today."

"All have been furnished with a copy of the Minutes
of the last meeting. Are there any corrections you
would like to have made 1"

Mr. Crawford: "Mr. Christy has requested that as a correction he
would like to have placed in the minutes of the
meeting of June 21, 1954, the following statement:

'There are 10.8 miles of railroad line change re-
quired to get around this dam. Mr. BailE1Y, I
would like to make a statement and with your per-
mission, believe this is the proper place. The
C. F. & I. Corporation has never objected to any
of the proposals developed in connection with this
project. As early as 1945, we advised t.'1e Army
Engineers and the Bureau of Reclamation that we had
no objection, but that the Corporation expected to
be cOOlpensated for any damage resulting from a
project of t his type. The Corporation is not and
has not filed any protest. We have seen extracts
from many plans, but to date have not had in our
possession a complete, detailed report on the
project. III

Mr. Bailey:

"If there are no objections, the minutes will be
approved with the foregoing correction."
