A zoned earthfill dam impounds the reservoir <br />across the East Fork of the Minnesota Creek. The reservoir Is used to store and regulate the release <br />of water for irrigation of about 3,400 acres of agricultural land. The Beaver Reservoir Company <br />(BRC) is comprised of 1.600 shares. The shares are split as follows: Minnesota Canal and Res. Co. <br />(900 shares), Turner DITch Co. (400 shares) Lone Cabin Ditch and Res. Co. (300 shares). The <br />reservoir was built in 1958 by the BRG. The BRC borrowed $415,000 in 1995 to install the liner and <br />remove a restriction placed on the reservoir by the SED. The Project consists of stabHlzing the <br />reservoir liner, which was installed in 1995 and financed by ewes.
