It was agreed that Mr. Sparks would make <br />comments on this bill and attend the meeting in Salt <br />Lake City. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The second item Mr. Christy had was that the <br />National Rivers and Harbors Congress had finally recog- <br />nized western reclamation projects about a year ago and <br />again this year had adopted a strong resolution recommend- <br />ing western reclamation projects. Mr. Christy said that <br />Dean Crawford had been a Vice-President on this Congress <br />but that now Colorado did not have representation on it <br />and that consideration be given to this at the Board's <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Christy also reported that the District <br />Court in Pueblo had officially established a fifteen <br />man board to be known as the Southeastern Water Conser- <br />vation District and asked that they not be forgotten by <br />the members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board. <br /> <br />MR. MOSES: <br /> <br />"Thank you Mr. Christy. <br /> <br />One question I have, Larry, do <br />you have any idea as to when you <br />will be able to take over the duties <br />as Director?" <br /> <br />MR. SPARKS: <br /> <br />"It will take a minimum of <br />thirty days." <br /> <br />MR. MOSES: <br /> <br />"I assume you will continue your <br />duties as attorney for this Board <br />until you take over as Director." <br /> <br />MR. SPARKS: <br />MR.
