Law, Executive Director <br /> <br />RE: . <br /> <br />Director's Report . <br /> <br />Small Water Resources Proiects <br /> <br />Senate Bill 98-078, sponsored by Senator Ament and Representative Entz, passed the <br />legislature and was signed by the Governor on April 2. <br /> <br />At the May 1 meeting, the Authority's Board approved North Weld County Water District for <br />a $4.9 million loan. Morgan County Quality Water District ($2.9 million) was approved for <br />a loan increase at the May meeting as well. Morgan County's election question passed on <br />May 5. Additional borrowers for a possiblE3 September bond issue include the Town of <br />Dillon and the City of Gunnison. <br /> <br />Water Pollution Control Revolving Fund <br /> <br />Staff closed the 1998 Series A and B bond issue in April which funded $55.7 million in loans <br />to Trinidad ($6.7 million), Buena Vista Sanitation District ($3.9 million), Eagle River Water <br />and Sanitation District ($17.7 million), Colorado Springs ($22.2 million), Westminster ($4.1 <br />million) and Evans ($1.1 million). Interest rates for these loans ranged from 3.94% to <br />4.06%. With these loans, the total loan pool is $260,000,000. <br /> <br />The joint resolution (SJR98-004), modifying the WPCRF Project Eligibility List, was signed <br />by the Governor on March 16. <br /> <br />Drinking Water Revolving Fund <br /> <br />Staff is working on a June bond issue for $16.6 million in loans to Fort Morgan ($15.2 <br />million) and Buena Vista ($1.4 million). With these loans the total loan pool would be $49 <br />million. <br /> <br />The joint resolution (HJR98-1007), modifying the DWRF Project Eligibility List, was signed <br />by the Governor on February 17. <br />
