<br />. <br /> <br />21a. <br /> <br />- 9- <br /> <br />Paonia that CWCB has a strong desire to help with the water supply issue <br />including authorization and possibly other funds in the future. At this time the <br />staff recommendation on the application from the Town ofPaonia is denied. <br />Approved 9-0. Bob Burr was not present. The Board encouraged the Town <br />ofPaonia to review it's application and return for possible consideration at a <br />future meeting. <br /> <br />Water Supply Planning and Finance - En-bloc- Non-reimbursable Investment <br />Recommendations - CWCB/Division of Water Resources Satellite Monitoring System. <br />Tape 4, Track 3, 0000- <br />Action: A motion was made by Greg Hoskin with a second by Carolyn McIntosh for <br />staff recommendation that the Board request the General Assembly authorize <br />$23l,000 from the Construction Fund to be appropriated to the CWCB for <br />flood forecasting and warning, instream flow monitoring, compact protection, <br />and decision support system data collection efforts; $lOO,OOO for stream gage <br />flood hardening projects; and $303,000 from the Construction fund to be <br />appropriated to the Department of Natural Resources for allocation to the <br />Division of Water Resources to enhance, renovate, and replace the Data <br />Collection Platforms in the existing satellite monitoring system. The total cost <br />of this joint gaging effort is $634,000. Approved 8-0. Greg Walcher and Bob <br />Burr were not present. <br /> <br />21b. Water Supply Planning and Finance - En-bloc- Non-reimbursable Investment <br />Recommendations - Instream Flow Decision Support System (ISFDSS) <br />Tape 4, Track 3, cont. <br />Action: A motion was made by Greg Hoskin with a second by Carolyn McIntosh for <br />staff recommendation that the Board request the General Assembly authorize <br />$440,000 from the Construction Fund to be appropriated to implement the <br />recommended ISFDSS component of the CDSS. Approved 8-0. Greg <br />Walcher and Bob Burr were not present. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />21c. Water Supply Planning and Finance - En-bloc- Non-reimbursable Investment <br />Recommendations - CWCB Database Pilot Program <br />Tape 4, Track 3, cont. <br />Action: A motion was made by Greg Hoskin with a second by Carolyn McIntosh for <br />staff recommendation that the Board request the General Assembly authorize <br />$75,000 from the Construction Fund to be appropriated to implement the <br />recommended CWCB Database Pilot Study. Approved 8-0. Greg Walcher <br />and Bob Burr were not present. <br /> <br />21d. Water Supply Planning and Finance - En-bloc- Non-reimbursable Investment <br />Recommendations - Document Imaging Program <br />Tape 4, Track 3 cont. <br />Action: A motion was made by Greg Hoskin with a second by Carolyn McIntosh for <br />staff recommendation that the Board request the General Assembly authorize <br />$l50,000 from the Construction Fund to be appropriated to the Department of <br />Natural Resources for allocation to the CWCB for use in its imaging system. <br />Approved 8-0.
