Water Supply Planning and Finance -Lower Arkansas Water Management Association <br />Loan Payment Deferral Request <br />Tape 4, Track 3 25:00 - 30:00 <br />Action: A motion was made by Greg Hoskin with a second by Eric Wilkinson for <br />staff recommendation that the Board adopt a resolution to approve the Lower <br />Arkansas Water Management Association's request for fmancial relief by <br />granting a one-year 100% deferment of their May 1, 2003 contract #Cl537l5 <br />loan payment in the amount of $ l22,000 their July 1, 2003 contract #Cl53756 <br />loan payment in the amount of$7,718 and their November 1, 2003 contract <br />#C153678 loan payment in the amount of$8,ll4. The deferred interest <br />amount of each loan will be added to the current loan balance that will then be <br />re-amortized over each loan's remaining life. The deferrals are based on the <br />Board's fInding that the District has encountered significant and unexpected <br />fInancial diffIculties, and that it has been duly diligent in its efforts to comply <br />Flood Protection .
