A brief swnmary of <br />e the studies is presented below. <br /> <br />1. FPR 98-466: A FLood Insurance Study (FIS), dated February 1987, was published by FEMA <br />for the Town of Holyoke in Phillips County. The study includes detailed floodplain information <br />for Frenchman Creek in the community. <br /> <br />2. FPR 98-467: A Floodplain Information Report, dated April 1998, was completed for the <br />Town of Lyons in Boulder County. The study includes detailed floodplain information for <br />North St. Vrain and St. Vrain Creeks in the community. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br />Attachments I and 2 summarize the findings of the staff review for each of the floodplain studies <br />for which designation has been requested. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br />The floodplain information for Resolutions Nos. 98-466 through 98-467 meets the applicable <br />requirements of the Board's "Floodplain Designation and Approval Rules". The proposed <br />resolutions for those 2 studies have been reviewed and discussed with the interested parties. The <br />staff recommends that designation action be taken on the 2 studies referenced above. <br /> <br />e <br />
