July 9. 1992 <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Call to Order (10:00 - 10:04 am) <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board was held on Thursday, <br />July 9, 1992 at the Anasazi Heritage Center, 27501 Highway 184, Dolores, Colorado. <br />The meeting was called to order at 10:00 am by Chairman Martineau. Eight of the <br />ten voting members were present so there was a quorum (at least six required). <br />Present were Harrison, Smith, Jackson, Martineau, Sheftel, Wright, Meyring, Simpson, <br />and Duncan. Peter Evans, DNR, represented Ken Salazar and Jennifer Gimbel, AG's <br />office, represented Gail Norton. Absent were Lochhead, Eisel, and Olson. Eisel <br />arrived at 10:20 am <br /> <br />Announcements were made by Tom Vaugn, BLM, regarding the meeting facility. Sara <br />Duncan presented Bob Jackson with a plaque from the Board in appreciation for <br />serving as chairman. Tyler Martineau acknowledged a letter from David Walker <br />thanking the Board for their support. <br /> <br />1 A complete record of the public session part of the meeting has been made <br />on audio cassette tapes. The tapes and the associated staff memoranda are the <br />only legal record of the meeting. These written summaries are intended only as <br />an aid to research and a guide to the tapes. The motions presented herein may <br />not necessarily represent a verbatim transcript. Numbered agenda items are <br />presented chronologically in the order that they were actually considered by the <br />Board. <br /> <br />The tapes, recorded at very slow speed (1.2 em/see) on a Sony BH-146 court <br />recorder, are available for listening at the eweB during regular office hours. <br />Arrangements to make copies of the tapes or written transcripts of specific <br />agenda items may be made at the requestor's expense. <br /> <br />Tape 1 covered the public session from 10:00 a.m. to 12.59 p.m. Thuraday. <br />Tape 2 covered the public session from 2:30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Thuraday. Tape 3 <br />covered the public session from 9:39 a.m. to 12:29 p.m. Friday. Tape 4 covered <br />the public session from 1:37 p.m. to about 5:10 p.m. Friday.
