District <br />facilities were constructed over 50 years ago, and are in need of rehabilitation. The <br />Mancos Water Conservancy Districtwas formed in 1941 under the Water Conservancy <br />Act of 1937. It has the power to acquire water rights, construct and operate facilities, <br />levy taxes, and issue debt subject to the provisions of TABOR. The District has <br />completed the feasibility study.
